How to make EPS molding mortar

How to make EPS line mortar

  • Weighing: Weigh the cement, sand, and admixtures accurately according to the designed proportion. Usually, the proportion of cement, sand, and polymer latex powder is about 1:3:0.05 – 0.1 (by mass).
  • Dry Mixing: Put the cement, sand, and admixtures into a mixer and mix them evenly for about 3 – 5 minutes to ensure a uniform distribution of the materials.
  • Adding Water: Slowly add the appropriate amount of water to the dry mixture while mixing. The water – cement ratio is generally controlled at about 0.2 – 0.3. Keep mixing for another 5 – 10 minutes until the mortar reaches a suitable consistency, which is neither too dry nor too wet, and has good workability.

The prepared EPS line mortar should be used promptly to avoid hardening due to long – term standing. During the construction process, follow the relevant technical specifications and safety regulations to ensure the quality and safety of the project.
